SuperNormal, a Stockholm, Sweden-based startup working on a video collaboration software tool, announced that it completed a funding round of $2 million.

The money was raised from a range of Nordic investors led by EQT Ventures and including contributions from angels David Helgason, Hampus Jakobsson, Mattias Miksche and Thomas Madsen-Mygdal.

SuperNormal, founded in 2020 by CEO Colin Treseler and Fabian Perez, developed a software solution that uses video and screen recording tools to help teams create and send asynchronous video updates throughout the day. SuperNormal videos include instant transcripts and ‘AI-powered summaries’ to help teams get their messages across faster, as it enables them scan through the digests or easily skip to the most relevant sections, the company notes.

The product is live in the market, in use by some 400 companies.
