DAAL secured NOK 3.7 million via Folkeinvest
DAAL, a Trondheim, Norway-based startup producing helmets incorporating an advanced noise control system, secured NOK 3.7M ($400k) in capital funding.
The money was raised from 200 investors in an equity crowdfunding campaign via Folkeinvest.
DAAL Noise Control Systems, founded in 2016 by acoustician and motorcyclist Dag Loe and physicist Sigmund Birkeland, is developing an active noise control system (ANC) for MC helmets. The system dampens wind noise without interfering with important traffic noises like car horns and sirens.
