Contingent announced $2.3 million in a funding round led by Connect Ventures.

Contingent, a New York, USA and London, UK-based SAAS developer of a supplier risk and resilience platform, announced comleting a seed funding round of $2.3 million.

The money was raised from investors led by Connect Ventures and including participation from Seedcamp, Concentric, and Angel Invest Ventures.

Proceeds will be used to accelerate product development and expand the number of key supply chain risk parameters that can be used during the assessment process.

Contingent, founded by CEO Tai Alegbe, developed a SAAS solution used to deliver third-party risk due diligence, proactive monitoring, and operational resilience. The company provides users with tools and services to assess, screen, monitor, and analyse risks in their supply chains. Existing ustomers include the challenger bank Monzo, payments provider Vyne, and several HM Government departments.
